Aspen Festival of lights was in celebration of our rich and diverse culture in Aspen it’s a time where our residents decorate their homes and offices and come together for peace.On the night, people dress up in new clothes or their best outfit.  The food most at the festival ranged from samosas’, our favorite Indian sweets, which come in a range of colours and flavours. The celebration however features various rich savoury and sweet dishes. The food played a central theme to the celebrations. There was traditional wear and jewellery on offer and house crafts. The entertainment was the sparkle at the festival of lights with MC DJ Zuby, singers, Imran Aslam & Bhavik Jivan. The local dance groups Jazzy Masala,Desi Motion, Shivohum Dance, Maza Academy. Aspen kept to their ‘green status’ instead of Fireworks which is banned in Aspen the organisers went with a light show which proved to be just as effective.  Thank you to all the residents for supporting this event, JYM for sound and lighting, to our residents who sponsored towards the event.
